There are a lot of electrical pylons at Newburn. You can hear them hissing if you stand near them.

The sky is such a lovely colour behind the pylons.

Jeff and I braved the freezing winter weather early in January to visit Tyne Riverside Country Park for the first time in a few years.
 The paths were still quite icy with some snow still to be seen.
